’d ride a bike from the house out to feed her every day for awhile. ;~)

LOL...but good idea:)

I've been meaning to tell you I already had your address. I'll pick up some papers tomorrow when I'm in town, and get them in the mail.

Well, I think it’s been announced now... I think the early explanations were in FRMail.

He had a brain tumor a few to several years ago now. Was removed, it caused considerable physical challenges, loss of speech and mobility on one side of his body, that he had to overcome, which he did in large part, through sheer determination and force of will, and his faith.

He’s regularly been tested since, and a recent test found a recurrence. Another tumor in pretty much the same spot, I think. There was considerable risk that he would again lose some speech and mobility when it was removed, which happened yesterday, and apparently all signs are good after the surgery.

Wow, that’s awful about the tumor reoccurance, but I’m glad to hear that the surgery went well. He seems like a cool person and a great Dad. I’ll be praying for him and his family.

So you don’t think the leg crossing is a strange symptom of something? No, I wouldn't think it was anything.

Maybe pony just really had to pee. Just checking in. Things should be back to normal tomorrow, (I hope)

He’s always been pretty quiet about it, he’s better as the tough Marine. I hope it can stay that way many more years to come now. ;~)

Good morning.

Congratulations to your friend:)...that's a pretty good accomplishment.

We are starting to get some fall color, seems it happens overnight.

Oooh yeah.

We froze last night. It’s been close the last few nights, but now I think there’s actual frost in the pasture.

That is great. Tell Judy congratulations from us :) and I'll be looking for her picture in the Ap Journal. Is she one of the pictures you posted earlier this year?

By the way, does she show at all in the Heritage classes?

Hey y'all. I just made it into the office for a while after they got done with me down in the plant. Thankfully I don't have to work tomorrow, so I hope to get a ride in.

I was just going through my e-mails and found link to a good article in Equestrian Network Magazine on de-spooking trail horses. They've got some pretty good ideas for how to set up challenges for your horse during the off season in order to help them be more spook-proof.

Is she one of the pictures you posted earlier this year?

Yes, she is the solid one, with the tank for a mother. She stays at the trainers, but if they bring her home for winter, I will take some more pictures. They didn't take the yearling colt, that is 2nd in the Nation, because of a growth spurt.

Judy doesnt show anymore and has not been on a horse in 2 years. She fractured her back from a fall off a 3 year old, so she cant take a chance of really messing herself up. They have trainers show their halter horses. That is what she breeds for.

I wish I had taken better pictures when my ex-SIL showed in the Nez Perce costume classes. We made the costume and I sewed beads all one winter. :) It sure was a fun class.
