It’s so terrible these constant car chases. What happened to the technology that allows the police to de-magnatize a car ahead of them and stop it? Even with the most recent deaths of four people killed in the two helicopter accident while they raced through the air “to get the exclusive videos”.

What’s happening that people risk their lives to get news coverage. it was very sad crash and it was only a matter of time since we have all seen these chases on the news. Keep the helicopters farther away and use some common sence.
What you and others fail to understand is that many times the news video is used in court against the criminals involved in these pursuits, and they have actually assisted law enforcement many times. When 5 or 6 exit a vehicle, running in 5 different directions, more eyes in the sky are very helpful. News helicopters have gone from covering the news to being part of the news, and have been involved in all types of rescues and all sorts of positive incidents.
Trying to ban or stop news helicopters from covering news just isn't going to happen. If there is any blame here in regards to pursuits, it's the guy behind the wheel.
