I stopped listening to O’Reilly when he once attacked Jesse Helms for no reason other than to show liberals that he would also attack people “on the right”. I knew there was no “there there” after that.
Well, yes, me too.
I think O'Reilly early on realized that being a "maverick" would be his ticket to more viewers. Let's face it, he's a watered-down version of the radio "shock jock".
I stopped listening to O'Reilly when he ignorantly claimed that the so-called Assault Weapons Ban was a restriction on purchase of machine guns.
I emailed asking for a correction but received no response and have heard no retraction of his ignorant claims. Best he should be replaced by somebody who values knowledge and truth.

He lost me in 2004 when he went against my Swiftboat Vets brethren. Up until then I actually liked the guy, even read his first book. Now, I cant even stand to look at his pontificating, Im here looking out for you, populist BS mug.
I lost it for O’Reilly when the Paris Hilton porn video surfaced. O’Reilly made the comment that he had watched the video then issued his critique of her sexual performance. I realized right then that there was nothing redeeming in the man.

oh sure...his paycheck depends on him being constantly outraged at someone or at something.
Hannity too.
Being outraged for a living would be exhausting and would quickly turn anyone into a crank.
The sad thing is that these people probably think their importance in peoples’ lives is much greater than it really is.
If they weren’t blatting in front of a camera or in front of a microphone everyday, the world would still spin just the same.

You summed it up nicely. My father in law watches him every night, but I don’t much care for the guy at all. Guess that makes me a “hater”, eh Bill?
