I recently tuned in to the Radio Factor to hear Bill O'Reilly saying that he was hated by Freerepublic and that it was an extreme right wing blog. First of all, Mr. O'Reilly is not hated. I have a lot of respect for the man, his honesty, integrity and point of view. What I don't like, as do many Freepers, is that when he is on target on some key issues, he is way off target on others. He needs to realize that we even disagree amongst ourselves quite often. I get my daily dose of talk radio, Rush, Dr. Savage, Boortz, Levin and O'Reilly. Why does he always have to thrash a conservative i.e. Ann Coulter in the same breath when he's zapping a liberal? Let's just say that when some of us disagree with him, he needs to be "de-spun" on occasion. It's called "tough love" Mr. O'Reilly. The Great Oz has spoken.

He’s a pseudo-conservative when he thinks it makes him look good.

Ellis Henican tried to tell him FR was a “radical right” site last year. But Bill wasn’t “learning the Net” back then. There are a few here who would do well to temper their language, but there’s nothing here vaguely like dkos, DU, or HuffPo. Actually, I’m glad Michelle Malkin & MKH are teaching him to pay attention.

I agree. Bill O’Reilly is an intelligent common sense person. One could learn a lot from him, just as they do from Rush.

Exactly. I heard the same thing as you. And the person that started this thread has misunderstood what Bill O’Reilly said. I heard the show he was talking about and posted above what was said. Simple as that.

I signed up at FR (after lurking for a time) because of Hannity saying that FReepers didn’t like him, either...Or Rush.

If you don't like what he says you might consider one of the following options:
I guarantee you that there is nothing you can say about Rush Limbaugh that we all haven't heard or read about at least a million times. So, if you are incapable of coming up with some interesting or original material, put a sock in it!
- Turn the dial
- Wear earplugs
- Take a break
- Get some rest
- Get a job
- Grow up
- Shut up
- Get a little
- Get a life
- Buy a clue
