We finally ventured out for chow since it had calmed down. Every Iraqi we saw on the camp was grinning from ear to ear.
Every American was doing the same. We were congratulating them and there was lots of hugging going on. This is a very happy town right now. A happy nation. :-)

I admit, I was kinda rooting for the Saudis because Iraqi soccer triumps = lots of dead innocent civilians. But it truly has been peaceful. My buddy’s trailer took a round, but he’s fine. Much, much better than last week.
