There's a reason people don't keep hyenas and tigers as pets (not legally, anyway). If such animals have even a momentary lapse of control and attack their handlers, the results can be devastating. As this poor young woman is finding out, there's no way to unring that bell.

I'm sure the owner loved his "sweet baby" pit bull before this attack, and would have defended it against anyone concerned that it might prove dangerous. But in his foolishness, he allowed his real baby to be mauled, which will change her life forever.
