I’ve hear of fungus problems resulting from late evening watering.....but I’ve never actually seen it happen

I've heard that too, but maybe that's because in South Texas we have so much kalichi. Sometimes we don't have a choice. When we're in drought mode [more often than not] we're not allowed to water during 'prime time.' We have to wait until after 8:00 p.m.

Oh yeah! I’m in Central Ohio...........we get it all

but not the extreme heat you folks get.

We’re usually only dry in August, but this year June and July have been arid.
