My mother-in-law came to visit once. I begged her to stay longer but she said “Fish and company go bad in 3 days”. She was an enjoyable lady. :)

I try to keep that in mind when I visit anyone. My class reunion is coming up in a couple of weeks, and I’ll be gone four days.
But I may not stay all three nights with my friend. I may impose on one of my nephews! I’ll see what happens between now and then.

You know, she was absolutely wrong. I was enjoying her visit so much. I think she just wanted to go home.

If she’s like most people I know, she probably didn’t want to be an imposition. And that’s OK. It just makes the next visit that much better.

Shhhhhhhhh!
The He-Man Woman Haters Club will be by to tell you exactly how this joke proves that men are so oppressed these days.
They are a humorless bunch.

I think any woman who burns her bra should be in it at the time!

I never understood the whole bra burning thing.
I am much more inclined to burn those shoes with pointed toes and the slicker then snot plastic heel tips.
But a properly fitting bra is a gift from above.

I went to church this morning, but I suspect I should have stayed in bed. It’s been a while since I went, so I really needed it.
I’ll rest up...

From the weather radar it looks like we've got about an hour or two of drizzle ahead. Boy, was I wrong on that! Had to drive into the city so LoM could get her elections materials (she runs a polling place) for Tuesday's elections, and halfway there it went from drizzle to rain almost to downpour. And kept up through church until about 1 PM. Then what I feared -- the temp and humidity started climbing. When we got home about 2 it was a bit uncomfortable.
Not sure what's going on now, but I'm feeling chilled although it's still up at 60F outside. Must be the dampness. Hope I'm not coming down with something.

A properly fitting bra is a gift, no matter where it comes from!
(But I sure don’t like the prices!)
