With all due respect to cat lovers, the kitten should have just been put out of its misery. Burns are horrible and it shouldn’t have to suffer like that. It’s just an animal.
The kitten probably should of been put down being so young....but Please don’t say it’s just an animal. Whether you like it or not ....many ‘animals’ are peoples kids. We get so attached to them...we suffer and love them like we would any ‘human’.
With all due respect, your disregard for the life of a living being is a bit upsetting.
I’m a cat lover and I agree with you.
Hundreds of perfectly healthy cats are euthanized every day just because homes can’t be found.
This one should have been euthanized as an act of mercy to the poor thing.
It looks pretty bright and alert in the picture. Most likely it will heal up fine and live a long happy life in a loving home. Veterinary medicine is just as advanced as human medicine, so I’m sure it’s been getting plenty of painkillers.
With all due respoect, you are ignorant of advances in veterinary medicine.
I agree.
If this was an accident -- a house fire, for example -- I would agree. But "we" caused it and "we" need to fix it, more for our sake than the cat's.
Ping #209 (happy ending)
Animals are far more resilient than we think : )
I’m a total cat lover and I agree.
The poor baby should have been put to sleep. It’s going to be in constant pain for however long it lives.
Send it back to God and pray that it’s next life is in a loving home.
I’m inclined to agree with you. The resources spent on the cat should have gone to someone needing medical attention. But then perhaps the vets are doing the work for free in which case no one would have been helped.
Anyone know if the vets are billing for their services to save the cat’s life?
Agree...
