Protesters to converge on North America summit

Activists already are preparing to protest the third summit meeting of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, a trilateral initiative between the U.S., Canada and Mexico seen by critics as a major step toward a North American Union, according to WND columnist Jerome Corsi, author of a new book on the subject, "The Late Great USA."

The meeting, which has received almost no mention in the U.S. mainstream media, is scheduled for Aug. 20 and 21 in Montebello, Quebec, at the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello resort.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper is scheduled to host the Quebec summit, which will be attended by Mexican President Felipe Calderon and President Bush.

OF COURSE the President does NOT select the members of the CFR or the Trilateral Commission. For the 2nd time, that is NOT what I said. He, whoever the President is, does select and appoint a great many members of both these organizations to head our gov't bureaucracies. As you said in your earlier post that I responded to: Even Reagan appointed 276 members of these organizations to head the bureaucracies of the Executive Branch that was under his control. I believe he had far fewer members of these two groups as appointees than most modern Presidents, but it certainly shocked old conservatives like Viguerie who had worked long and hard to get him elected, never believing that he would be little different in his appointees than his predecessors.

The reason that no matter who we elect President, nothing seems to change in regard to the size or direction of the Federal Gov't is because we have very little choice when we have ANY choice at all; then whoever we do elect, appoints from the same pool of people (CFR, Trilateralists) the same people to run the gov't.

Last night I watched Cold Case and it was good. I almost never watch TV now except for news.

“Cold Case” and those true crime shows on A&E and sometimes on the “History Channel” are probably why “Law & Order” and C?I hold interest so well

Much is taken and edited from real cases and people cab relate to them as they usually end up catching the bad guys

You are so right in that comment. We elect the candidate closest to our ideologies, and when he gets in, he selects those to be around him, people we would never vote for. The American citizen is caught between a rock and a hard place.
