Hmmm. Unfair advantage? I dunno. The real test of that will be if other athletes start having their legs chopped off and replaced with similar prosthetics so they can get the same advantage...

Scientists working for the world's sports governing body will be analysing Pistorius to see whether his carbon-fibre limbs are giving him an unfair edge that allows him to perform beyond his natural ability. Essentially, they want to know if he's cheating.

I remember a dust up in power lifting when a guy with no legs was, shall we say, kicking butt in the bench press competition for his weight class. I don’t remember how that was worked out.
