I'd be cool with a child (and parent) section on an airplane. Alternately, I'd be cool with a "no kids" section for those who don't wish to sit near small children. Heck, I'd pay more for such seating. Riding next to little kids on a plane makes me miserable. The kids can't help it, they're only being kids, but in close quarters, it's not fun.
