During WWII it was used for a lot of things like bathing, scrubbing cuts and scratchedps prior to the application ohpf Methiolate (sp), OUCH. LOL

LOL, I guess my aunt never left WWII, her husband served in the Navy his ship was torpedoed. She was an inspector of guns in a local facory.

Oh it’s great for washing the skin after an encounter with Mrs. Poison Ivy.
