Ohhh, thank you Lady. Definitely going into my profile

I found the poem insightful and disturbing due to how it portrays the demands we make out of life and the world.

We so often cannot be happy with how things are. So we dig for a "deeper meaning", or "improve" the situation. Thereby missing the point entirely, possibly even destroying it in the process.

Your welcome - you inspired me.

If you’ve read enough of the poems I post, upbeat is the theme.

This one was both up and down. However in my mind, the down showed how we can react to things in ways we don’t have to and it opened my eyes to how we should strive to be always hopeful.
