Oh ouch..I hate hives..I had a terrible bout with hives ..not drugs but a change in fabric softener did me in.Eventually I had welts all over.Bufferin..of all things.. caused my throat to almost swell closed once many years ago.

Fabric softener, my goodness, one just never knows. And those over the counter drugs can be very troublesome, I had an encounter with one of those, too. ;(
My mom used to rinse the laundry in rainwater it is soft water. She also put bluing in the last rinse to keep the whites, white. All by hand of course. What a worker she was. I Don't hold a candle to her.
Due to the blood thinner I take, I can take Ibuprofen only.
