Thanks...but I don’t see Fancy Feast on the list. As far as I know it was safe.....as well as Friskies and 9-Lives.
Not in this house she ain't!
>Good old Purina was never on any recall list and is conspicuously absent here.<
Yeah, I noticed that too. My little priss gets that new Purina Natural. She hasn’t fallen over dead yet.
Thanks for this safe cat food update. =^..^=
Bookmarked.
LOVE your tagline, LOL. My kitties had premium brand crunchies and cans for years but far preferred Friskies. The older they got, the more persnickity they became. The only cat food that ever made them sick was CAnidae, on the “safe” list and widely touted to be “the best.”
My last kitty died this week, at 15. Healthy until a month ago. A good run for a little cat the vets told me from the beginning was “not strong.”
I think you can add Natural Balance products back to this list. The one affected product they sell was recalled and is currently being reformulated (Venison & Green Pea Formula). Hope they bring it back to market soon, my cats love it.
Yup, Primal, that’s what my girls eat! WAY too expensive, but they love it and are the healthiest they have ever been! :) I’m on to finding my own recipes though, this price has to come down. (BTW, Primal is a raw food company and is only found at specialty pet stores)
