Had a liberal acquaintance tell me recently (with a straight face) that most people get their news from the Internet because they can’t read!

So true - the crap in the Times and the P-I makes them unreadable (even at the coffee shop).
I wish I had a cogent reply to your comment, but, unfortunately, I cannot read it.
That may be a cry for help. Perhaps your friend just needs some assistance with powering up his monitor so he or she can see the words. ;-)
