I am just amazed that a 12 year old could get away with even being in the vicinity of a 23 year old.
I would have locked her in her room and thrown away the key.
And the cops would have been called in to take care of him.
That said, she’ll most likely be out of jail by the age of 21 and pregnant within the year.

I feel really, really sorry for the parents --- they certainly did not deserve to die. But I can only imagine their own morals if they raised such a daughter and allowed her to behave she did.

Both Jeremy and Jasmine have been in police custody since their arrest. Regardless of whether or not she is convicted, Jasmine's age will prevent her from serving a lengthy sentence. According to Canadian law, Jasmine, now 13, can only be sentenced to a maximum of 10 years in prison, and no more than six can be served while in custody. Jeremy, on the other hand, whose preliminary hearing is set for March, could be sentenced to life without parole for 25 years. Sheesh.
Loverboy gets out of prison when he's 48.
That's Canadian justice?
