I think it was a poor attempt at fuel air explosions. If they had been able to get the propane tanks to explode first, it would have spread the gas.

It wasn't a poor attempt. These attacks got thwarted by outside influence.

It's entirely possible the bomb set for use against that club was put out of commission because the attackers couldn't get a signal across a very busy Cell tower ~ during Midsummer must be 50,000 Swedish and Danish teenage girls in that part of London, all on cellphones, plus the other 100,000 tourists, all on cellphones.

The Jeep attack at the airport was thwarted by simple concrete piers that blocked the Jeep's entry into the terminal building.

It doesn't take rocket science to set these kinds of bombs off.
