Hi, Gran,
just getting a little caught up after a long time away..that photo of your daughter’s boyfriend is really nice. For my birthday the hubster gave me a nice NikonD80 and since then I have added 5 lenses..and been shooting away. Our local paper here has photos from around the county and I actually got one published...it is of my cat Mr Peepers doing evening yoga! Digital is so much nicer than 35mm though there is use for film too.

Been absent for a long time..life has been hard here..the hubby had heart surgery two years ago and ever since it has been something else..a month ago he had femoral bypass done so our trip to Italy was canc...thank goodness for trip ins! Will try to pop in more often..I see there are new members to our old gang and some oldtimers are back...
Cheers. CG

Hi CG,

I have the older version, the Nikon D50 with a extra 300mm telephoto lens. Plus of course my ever faithful and smaller Canon G2.

Yes digital is fantastic we can all be experts now.

Sorry to hear about your husband, I had a trip to the specialist a couple of months ago and am on meds for my heart too.

CG!!!! Good to see you! I wonder about you and Ozzy every time I go to S. Cal, even if I’m on 5.
