After all this hype, how can ninth place be called “healthy”?

A Mighty Heart starring Angelina Jolie collapsed completely, managing only 14th place with $470K Friday. Good! I saw an advance screening of that anti-Bush/anti-American propaganda piece until I was asked to leave for shouting at the screen.

But I am sure it will be nominated for an Academy Award.

I enjoyed Die Hard more than the rat movie. I was really disappointed in ratatouille. Seems like everyone else liked it. I thought it dragged.....on and on.....with the same old thing. Yawn! The rat clan was pretty funny, but the rest was just so so. I have liked every other Pixar movie, but not this one.
It was weird how the young man developed a love interest in the woman who seemed older than he was. I don't know. That was kinda creepy.

Reading some of the reviews. Some consider ‘Ratatouille’ to be the best Pixar film yet, and that says a lot.

When I say it seems like everyone else liked ratatouille, I mean the critics. The kids in the audience were not laughing so much like they did at the other movies. Ask a kid. I’d be interesting in their feedback.

A Mighty Heart starring Angelina Jolie collapsed completely, managing only 14th place with $470K Friday. AS soon as people learned that it's an anti-American, anti-Semitic piece of crap, they decided not to see it. The market rules!

Why is a NINTH place movie listed THIRD in a headline?

A Mighty Heart collapsed because of Jolie’s “overprotective” lawyer and the subsequent boycott of a lot of folks. I say it and thought it was incredible.

Yeah, even the local media around here have been doing their best to BOOST the Michael Moore dung. Just like they did with the Angelina movie.

I saw 1408 a couple days ago and was pleasantly surprised. It is based on a Stephen King short story and plays like a good episode of the Twilight Zone mixed with a bad acid trip. Normally I avoid anything with John Cusack like the plague, but he managed to pull this one off pretty well.

Weekend #1 accounts for the mandated MoveOn members smelling up the theatre seats. The second weekend is what matters.
