Sorry I was gone all day, but we went to the "Family Freedom Fest" in Everett WA, where we got to tour the USS Shoup, a destroyer, and the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln!
Got lots of pictures but they're mostly on the big dSLR, which I will process later. The one below was from the flight deck of the Abe Lincoln, taken with the pocket camera.
It was a great time, not the least of it talking with the sailors. It's not the easy life, but it seemed every one of them took pride in what they do. We thanked them all for their service.
