The body-mass index is often inaccurate because it shows people with a lot of muscle weight to be overweight, because they have too much weight for their height. But that weight is muscle, not fat, hence the inaccuracy.

And the US has a greater population than all of those other nations, so no wonder our numbers are going to appear higher, there are more people for it to affect.
