To: The Old Hoosier

The speed limit is not irrelevant. There is a time for doing irresponsible and reckless things like speeding, we call this the time up until we have families. Once we have families, we are expected to be more responsible.

Of course, maybe people wouldn’t feel the need to speed if they weren’t all so hell bent on living so damned far away from where they work.

Many learned studies have shown that speed limits make highways less safe, and less functional. They are a product of socialism.

Once we have families, we are expected to be more responsible.

Once we have families, we have an increased obligation to deliver them to their destination(s) expeditiously.
