I suspect you’re right. There’s no point in killing off a character nobody likes anyway.
I’ve been finding Molly irritating in the last couple of books, so I wouldn’t mind too much if she died heroically. After umpteen years of failing to discipline her children, she’s surprised that they’re out of control. If you’re going to be a laissez-faire parent, you’ve got to be prepared for the children to assume total autonomy at the earliest opportunity!

That's been my figuring since the last book came out. One or the other, but not both. Possibly Percy, trying to redeem himself. Snape's a goner, whichever side he's one. Dumbledore, if not dead, will be, so let's not argue it. And if Hermione tells Ron she loves him, or he decides to ask her to marry him, he's a goner(*).

Forget what you saw in the movie. Harry didnt see his parents die. However, judging from the Blues Clues jumper he wore the night his parents died - they shopped at Muggle clothing stores.

Ugh, I get enough of that humor at home.
Wait! If I know binary, and I know hex, does that mean I can throw hexes?

"We just figured out Jo's clues! We just figured out Jo's clues!! We just figured out Jo's clues! Because we're really smart!"
Now where did I put my handy-dandy notebook?

Hex away, but be charming about it.

Morning! I just spent three hours in the Urgent Care Clinic with Vlad; he’s got the croup.
I think I’ll order the tapes of “Goblet of Fire.” I didn’t like the movie all that much, but the book had lots of fun stuff.

Nope. It was a bad night, too - high fever, cough, and the awful wheeze. He’s watching a show with the girls two rooms away, and I can hear him breathing!

I just read in an interview with JKR from awhile back that there will be a new DADA teacher in book 7. I know there’s been alot of speculation about whether or not Hogwarts will be open in Book 7.

No reason why Hogwarts shouldn’t be open. The question is whether or not Harry will go, and if so, how long he will stay. I would add “and if Hermione and Ron leave with him”, except that there isn’t much of a question to that.

So here's an interesting topic for discussion:
Names always seem to mean something in Harry Potter.
So why are the "Weasley" family "weasley"?
And for all the taunting that Ron suffers, how come no one ever called him a weasel, calling attention to his surname?
You would think that a character like Malfoy (maybe Crabbe or Goyle) would be the weasely one, wouldn't you?
