I remember how horrified my sister and I were when we found out that my parents voted for Nixon in 1960 and Goldwater in 1964. (This was in the eighties, we were brainwashed in school about the Kennedy ‘dynasty’.)
I have told ya’ll before, my daddy told me with I was a little boy, ‘son’ there are 3 things you DO NOT ever want to do in life.
1. NEVER stay in a motel with ‘vacant’ painted on the side wall.
2. NEVER move to a town you can’t spell.
3. NEVER buy a used car from someone named ‘big hearted Eddie.
4. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER tust or vote for a Democrat.
