Thanks, wonder if we can do the same with okra without par cooking them first, don’t see why not.
I don’t remember that we planted okra ( I’m a northern gal, you know), but why not? If they are firm in the middle, you know, not like a cucumber, they should be ok. But I do freeze my squash after cutting them in slices.
