Good article. I recently installed a service from Verizon that combines a firewall, popup blocker, and a virus/spyware sweeper. The technician who installed it was very helpful and spoke good English. This program sweeps my XP system every three hours. I don’t need the parental control program, because my son is 19, and my 12 yr old stepson mainly plays games on the computer.
Considering what an abomination my system became, due to malware and spyware, the monthly charge will be a bargain. There is a little confusion about whether it’s 4.95 or 7.95 per month.
Now all I have to do is get my CD drive door fixed. The darn cats must have broken it, then tried to pry the front of the case to fix it. Damn cats :( (no one else will own up to it, so it has to be the cats, right?????)
