Kitna boldly predicts that Lions will be winners in 2007

The Detroit Lions haven't had a winning record since 2000 and haven't won 10 games since 1995. That's all going to change in 2007, according to quarterback Jon Kitna.
Appearing on WDFN-AM in Detroit on Thursday, Kitna predicted that the Lions will win more than 10 games this season. The Lions were 3-13 in 2006.
In March, Kitna said the Lions would win 10 games in 2007, but after seeing the team's schedule he adjusted his prediction -- higher.
"I'll keep to myself what I think we actually will win. But it's more than 10 games," Kitna said.
Part of the reason for Kitna's optimism is Calvin Johnson, the team's first-round draft pick.
"I don't like putting a lot of pressure on people, but Calvin Johnson, to me, will have about the same impact that Reggie Bush had in New Orleans," Kitna said. "He's everything that they said he was and more."
Of course Brett Favre did predict they would be in the Super Bowl in 96!
But Kitna isn't Favre.
Apparently he still doesn’t think a running game might help him.
New team for the Super B? I can’t judge right now who will be there, but I can say the Tennessee and Vince Young will not. Madden curse is gonna get ‘em.
Turkey plus a Lions game will put anyone into a deep coma.
Now that’s some fuzzy math.
Give Favre Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams and then ten wins would be a given.
No just to make the NFC playoffs instead of the Giants. The Titans have had an awful off season. They’ll probabaly win six games.
Oh. Carolina is a possibility, but I think St Louis will fare better than SF.
OK, has anyone figured what Matt Millen has on the Ford family that allows him to keep his job?

Mike Martz—run the ball? You’re kidding, right? Martz calls passing plays at least 70% of the time, and uses his RBs as receivers.
Jon Kitna had almost 4,000 passing yards in 2006, and with a receiving corps of Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson, he can probably do better. Detroit is going to pass the ball ad nauseum, and there’s nothing the Vikings’ front seven can do about that.
Instead, they have Rick Spielman.
Vince Young doesn’t need the Madden Curse to be awful.

Does that include the years, 2107 and 2207? If so, he might me right.
Was he including the pre-season ? LOL! Although Kitna did well the one year he had a chance with the bengals. Maybe Chad Johnson can carry them. It’s hard to believe that GT never beat Georgia with Chad at WR.
