“couples favor the doggie position:”
I think Andrew Dice Clay said he liked it, too, because both he and the girl could continue watching the ball game.
I believe this is true. It’s not the amount, it’s the quality of the experience. In general, women hold out for quality (ambiance, venue, person, emotional connection, etc.) Women don’t want less sex, they want less mediocre sex.
There is nothing wrong with having standards.
Busts? Who wrote this headline? :0)
As for the underlying theme of this particular survey -- its that men and women are basically the same, with only slight differences in the way we react to circumstances. Make no mistake about it. That IS the theme. I saw it right away and thus post # 2.
“First time Ive heard that one. Thanks. Ill steal it.”
Credit Rodney Dangerfield. One of his many famous lines.
I am reminded of the movie Annie Hall. Woody Allen and Diane Keaton are lovers and are at a psychiatrist and the doctor asks Woody how often they have sex? Woody says almost never, only 3 times a week. In the next scene Diane is asked the same question and she says all the time, 3 times a week.
The frequency of sex goes down with the length of marriage. Men get bored/tired and women get headaches. For anyone married over 5 years, be happy if you can get it once per week.
Very good explanation.
The trouble with stupid “surveys” like this one is that they leave normal woman feeling inadequate.
Is she is “faking” her own desire for sex when she wakes you up from a sound sleep in the middle of the night?
ps. I love it now that we are retired and have the house to ourselves.
Heard this in high school:
“The first year you’re married, every time you make love together, you put a penny into a gallon jar.
“After the first year, every time you make love together, you take a penny OUT of the jar.
“You’ll never empty the jar!”
My wife loves to talk on the phone during sex.
Last night she called me from Chicago.
Old Rodney Dangerfield joke—still cracks me up.
My wife and I were happy for twenty years. Then we met.
The physical act of sex and sexual gratification seems so unfairly biased toward men
How do you figure that? If anything "the physical act of sex and sexual gratification" is biased towards women.
.
I thought it was so they could both watch TV.
LOL. Classic movie line.
Men can get aroused at the drop of a hat, get in , do their stuff, and get out-- all in a matter of minutes. It's 'satisfying' 100 % of the time, any time of the day, any time of the week, any time of the year. There are no cycles to deal with, no cyclical mood swings , hormones or sanitary concerns. Nor do men have to keep a calendar for taking Birth Control medication. And finally they don't have to deal with the nine month ordeal of pregnancy, child birth and what follows in the immediate aftermath. So I would guess the act of sex and its consequences is maybe just a tiny bit biased toward men ? Or not.
Well, I don’t see it that way at all.
Women dont want less sex, they want less mediocre sex.
Here here!!!!! (clapping)
It’s my personal opinion that all these guys with wives (and ex wives) who don’t like sex?? They aren’t good at it, so their wives don’t want it, and they blame the woman.
I betcha.
“Women dont want less sex, they want less mediocre sex.”
Bingo. We have a winner.
