Great links, all of them. Thanks.
I'm jealous you saw KOL. Were they great?
Hope you catch Bob on a good night. I've seen him three times. Two shows were great, but one show, I swear no one had a CLUE what he was playing!
Screaming Trees
And it might not be the popular view on FR, but I'm desperately hoping for a Rage Against the Machine tour
Dont apologize. Im with ya. I bet Rage Against the Machine puts on one hll of a live show. If they come around your area, go for it.
Ive seen these artists in the past couple of years live in concert and I bet not one of them holds the same political views or votes the way I do, but I can still admire their song writing and musical talents and live performances.
I saw Marshall Crenshaw in an acoustic performance in a small club in Annapolis.
Marshall Crenshaw - Someday, Someway
Likewise, I saw Shawn Colvin with John Hyatt, in a small club in Baltimore in an acoustic set. After the first song, Shawns mike and the whole sound system went completely down. Instead of throwing a hissy, she was true grace under pressure and took this time to joke and chat with the audience and answer questions and told some really funny stories. That alone was worth the price of admission.
Shawn Colvin - These Four Walls
Ive seen the Dave Matthews Band in concert twice and I didnt even get poo from their tour bus dumped on me ;). These guys put on an amazing show and Id see them again.
Dave Matthews Band - The Space Between
A truly underrated talent. Breathtakingly beautiful live
Aimee Mann - Red Vines Aimee Mann - Stupid Thing
Concerts Id really like to see one day:
Even with her one sheet per silliness, I do have to admit liking her songs and I have several of her CDs and I wouldnt mind seeing her live.
Sheryl Crow - Soak Up The Sun
Likewise:
Thinking About You - Norah JonesElvis Costello - Veronica
And from the Family Values Tour:
Evanescence - Sweet SacrificeFreak on a LeashFlyleaf - Fully Alive
