Thing is, there's no such thing as a 'missed approach'!

That's why you have spoilers. They are "negative throttle". Your final approach in a glider will be considerably higher than a power plane. You use spoilers to kill the excess energy and altitude. You'll like 'em so much that you'll want 'em on everything you fly.

You'll really enjoy flying gliders and it'll make you a better, more coordinated pilot. It's also a good place to really, really learn about spins. Have fun!

On FR, it's long been a tradition that ignorant, rabid, mean-spirited, hostile, assaultive, uninformed, clueless skeptics
I'm overwhelmed by your lack of posting ANYTHING substantive to COUNTER my assertions; do you mean to say you've got ABSOLUTELY ZILCH in the way of any substantiating evidence?

No 'parts' of other-world crafts/saucers?

NOTHING but lousy, grainy still pictures or crude sketches?

Have YOU ever had a 'work' peer-reviewed (peer review, in and of itself is NO guarantee of a substantial of 'correct' work; look at the mincemeat that the 'Hockey Stick' has been since owing to a closer scrutiny by others outside the tight 'climate click' centered around Michael Mann).

Was this supposed to be a coherent paragraph or a joke?

Have YOU ever had a ‘work’ peer-reviewed (peer review, in and of itself is NO guarantee of a substantial of ‘correct’ work; look at the mincemeat that the ‘Hockey Stick’ has been since owing to a closer scrutiny by others outside the tight ‘climate click’ centered around Michael Mann).

There’s plenty of quality info out there. I have no compulsion or need to try and force willfully blind folks to see.

Sure ... like SPACESHIPS OF THE PLEIADES, The Billy Meier Story

Hoax. (The Billy Meier "Hoax" Exposed?)

Lovely pics.

All hoaxed though.

I knew a chap who bought into that hoax hook, line and sinker. Even bought the BIG expensive picture-book too back in the 80's.

For all I know YOU might be him.

The question still stands, too; have you ever gotten a 'peer-reviewed' work published (NOT that it means all that much in the climatology field for instance).

Maybe I broached one too many subjects in that last post, I assumed I was concersing with someone a little more widely versed with current 'research' in different areas of science.

I'll try not to make that mistake again.

You can do your part and let me know when I 'overload' you with ideas, terminology or a too abrupt change of subject.

Maybe this is the mothership reported by Luis Farikkan. We’re doomed!

No worries. They're just comin' down to replentish their 'supplies'.

More on Meier:
Eduard Albert "Billy" Meier
Occultism & Parapsychology Encyclopedia

Excerpt:

As a youth Meier ran away from home several times, eventually landing in the French Foreign Legion. In 1958 he began a period of wandering through the Middle East and southern Asia. Following an accident in 1965, he lost his left arm just above his elbow. He finally returned to Switzerland in 1970 and settled on a farm.

In 1974, he advertised for people who would like to be part of a metaphysical study group, and soon had a small gathering joining him for discussions of occult matters.

The next year he announced that he had not only seen a flying saucer, but that it had landed and a beautiful woman disembarked. He talked with her for an hour and a half. The woman, Semjase, hailed from the planet Erra in the Pleiades. Of all the people with whom the Pleiadians had made contact, only Meier had passed all the tests. Semjase set the stage for Meier to take a host of pictures of what were termed "beamships," Meier's primary evidence to an unbelieving world. He claimed to have taken a number of rides in the beamships, including a visit to the Pleiades.

Yes. At an overseas univ. But it’s not really been an interest or priority.

Your assaultive, derisive, hostile, insulting posts are noted.

Bye.

Meier is a trip.

You are evidently grossly uninformed about the material available at

Now THAT is amazing. I'd never heard of these things. Explains it well enough for me. I've never subscribed to little green men seeking bodies to probe. Now when somebody says, 'did you see that UFO!?' I can intelligently reply, 'ahhhh that's just a lennie'!! LOL

Thanks!
