The regs require that beer be served in its original container or served to the customer immediately once it's poured.

This regulation is necessary why – to protect us stale beer or from surly bar maids who might spit in our brewski?

The department (Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control) plans to send an agent to investigate.

I feel safer already knowing we are being protected from beer-sicles. Meanwhile our government doesn’t seem much interested in protecting us from purposely poisoned products from China……
