For those who keep their mp3s on a computer harddrive or server, the digs at "burning CDs" and "disposable mp3 players" don't ring as true.

And unless you are throwing away scratched CDs or "one time play" party compilations, who's throwing away good CD-Rs?

CDs in landfills reflect dead inventory that cannot be sold and has ZERO market value. Hyped flash in the pan acts and never-were artists who's CDs didn't sell.
