"Juneteenth"? Can't some of these "cultures" just have one celebration that doesn't seem to involve some mob or another beating someone to death?
I feel a bit nostalgic about Juneteenth. It was my father-in-law’s birthday and, as he always had a number of people of color working for him, he would have a big party.
Lots of people (not in Texas) don’t know what Juneteenth is or why it’s celebrated.
I’m actually surprised they were celebrating it in that lovely apartment complex.
