Exactly, and as a white man you are a pretty fair representation of those “evil white slave holders”. Your attendance of a Juneteenth celebration is sort of like a Brit elbowing his way into a 4th of July celebration complete with Union Jack and red British soldier uniform.

Don’t you feel a bit out of place? Also, given the violence of Junteenth celebrations this year, I can’t imagine why you would want to expose your children to that.

It just seems very odd to me, but perhaps it’s just me.

No, I do not feel out of place at a Juneteenth celebration because everyone there is a Proud American and understands what a wonderful nation we are, despite our past mistakes.
