We have no way to know the circumstances at this point. Maybe the kid ran out into the street after a ball - that’s not the driver’s fault. On the other hand, he could have been drunk out of his mind and aimed for the kid.

It doesn't matter the circumstances. Accidents occur all the time. If the driver was drunk, detain him until the cops arrive. What is alarming here the the way the crowd reacted by murdering the vehicle passenger, when in fact the kid victim did not suffer any lift threatening injuries.

This is just brutal Somalia type, chaos.

I am no NO WAY defending the crowds action - somewhat suggested that the driver was getting away with something and I said “We don’t know that”. In any case, in another published report I see that police have called it an accident.
