Oh, Meg, my Clematis is beginning to bloom, I thought the plant was dead, but it came back up new from the roots. Any way, the color is the deepest eggplant purple I have seen, and it’s loaded with buds. Just gorgeous.
Sounds wonderful..I forgot to ask if my daughter’s Clematis survived..She was going to try again and said it was too wet at her house to plant the new plant.
