On the way to work I was the victim of a hate crime. Yes, right here in this fair city on the Potomac.
I was driving, you know, to show people I’m one of them, and just minding my business. Well, I come to a stop sign, I slow down, but I didn’t see this guy in a teenie-weenie little Mazda in front of me. He was so low, and you know I have difficulty seeing over my steering wheel, not to mention the dashboard. Anyhow, I rear-end him. (OK, keep the applause down.)
Anyway, this fella gets out of his sports convertible. So I get out too, you know, to show him my license. Obviously startled, he looks kinda funny at me and says to me “You’re a dwarf!” Just blurts it right out.
I say to him, “I’m not happy.”
He says to me, “Well, OK, which one are you then?”
So my point is there ought to be a law against that type of behavior, and we're the ones to pass it.
