Excellent post. It's one thing for kids to tease or mock each other...that's part of growing up...it's wrong for adults, especially teachers to do it.

I agree. These silly awards should be funny, not mean-spirited. They should be done within the classroom and not given out in a public setting. Also, this kid already had one award. Giving him a second negative award just added insult to injury. Over the top.
