So far "X" at Magic Mountain (CA) is on the top of the list...
Although we waited for 3 hours to ride it, it was well worth the 15 seconds or so of the ride.
Goliath comes in 2nd.

Best ride of all time: the now-defunct Texas Cyclone. Absolutely!
I rode that many times and on a variety of intoxicants in the 80s. Greezed Lightin' was my second favorite.

Hey LJ!
You ever seen/been on any of the rides at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas?

Not even if I was promised a hot, steamy night with Wayne Newton (and who wouldn't want that?
) would I EVER get on one of those!!!!

They can go on the Stratosphere, you and I will go to lunch.
I love exciting rides, but the “best” rolloer coasters make me barf even when I take motion control pills.
Splash Mountain is more my style.

No doubt. If I’m gonna lose my lunch I’d rather it be because of one too many martinis then some stupid life-threatening ride. :o)

I’ll second the Loch Ness Monster. I had to wait until my second trip to Busch Gardens to ride it, because my brother was too short and I didn’t want to ride without him. Great coaster — just enough thrills to excite you, but nothing too severe.
My favorite park for coasters is Cedar Point. My wife and I once spent two days there and still didn’t have time to ride everything.
My least favorite ride is Disaster Control (or whatever it’s called) at Cedar Point — just a lame State Fair-level roller coaster in an air conditioned building. Honorable mention goes to the Journey to Atlantis at Sea World San Antonio — there’s only one real hill in the whole thing, and you spend most of your time turning on the turntables.
