What the heck?!
“What? I have no television, havent watched it in years. I dont miss it as I find what goes on there is completely and totally irrelevant to the real world”
Oh yeah, well I don’t have a computer and I have never used the Internet!
the one that walked in at the same time AJ did? (and what’s up with that...) and sat at the counter and then eventually walked to the bathroom?
Still, the set up of the scene was deliberate. If it was just the family together, no need to keep showing Meadow delayed and rushing in late. So the tension was real, a trick, or it is up to us to decide.
In a way I liked it, but then again - aren't the writers supposed to write the show? As opposed to my imagination.
"No... No! Nothing Happens! That's the ending!"
Think about it, if the series ended in a straight-up fashion that left nothing to the imagination, what would be the point of people watching the show on DVD?
With the ending ambiguous, people who never watched the show on HBO can still watch the DVDs without really knowing for sure how it all ends.
And as some suggest, perhaps Chase put the clues out there, ala “The Sixth Sense.”

Dude, if you don’t have an airplane, you don’t belong on this thread.

Or they will post on Paris threads how tired they are of hearing about Paris. Go figure.

Dude, if you haven’t slept with Paris Hilton, you don’t belong on this thread.
What was Tony trying to get Junior to remember? My phone rang (dang it)... so I missed that part :) ... I know, silly me for answering it.

What was Tony trying to get Junior to remember?

Where his stash of cash is hidden. Tony’s is in the bird seed barrel in the pool house.
Trying to get Jr to remember where he put his stashed money so T could get it to Bobby’s kids rather than his sister Janice.
For those that think the ending was bad...
Just think of that last scene, with the family in a restaurant. This is Tonys life and we all got to glimpse a little bit of what it must be like to be in his shoes.
Meadow is late, I wonder if she is going to make it here safely? His son is a loser, and even though he is bought off with the crappy job right now, that doesnt mean he is ok in the head— will he kill himself?
Every person that enters the diner is suspicious and might be the one that is going to kill me. Is that guy going to kill me? How about the guy that went into the bathroom?
What a way to live that would be. And that is Tonys entire life. Until he gets a bullet or goes to jail.
His life as a man in control is already over. And we got to feel that way in a small part during the last episode. What difference does it really make if Tony is dead in this episode or in Season 8? It is only a matter of time, and the time spent waiting is full of paranoid thoughts anyway...
I was more than a little confused.
Did you notice all the records in the mini juke box were old songs. I thought it was a dream sequence, going back in time.
Also, when Tony first entered the diner he had on a leather jacket, and I thought a solid grey shirt. But sitting down he had on a different shirt.
“Tony asked Bobby what he thought the end was like earlier. Bobby supposed everything just goes black. Tony was killed, then everything went black for him.”
Exactly, it’s a recurring theme in the series. Remember what Sil said when Torciano got whacked at dinner.
Level 2: You don’t hear the shot that kills you, you don’t see it coming. Everyone had an idea of how the series would end, but in the end we literally didn’t hear the ending, nobody saw that coming.
Level 3: Tony knew he could never please his mother no matter what he did. Chase knew he could never please the viewers no matter what he did.
Brilliant.
It could be, or maybe not. Either way, T’s life sucks.
I just think if we are supposed to viwe the Black screen as T’s death, we would have heard the shot. And then the black.
Did we ever learn what happened to Carlo? Of did I miss that part?
