Why do you come to FR? To catch up on the “odd news?” You’ve been around here long enough to know what I’m talking about. When someone posts something like this, I feel that there is a lack of urgency and/or awareness on his part. Having to wade through a post-a-minute is ridiculous. I’ll bet Jim has feelings like this but maybe being all one happy family is the paramount goal of FR anymore. ... /rant

Ive been here 4 years and threads like this have always been posted.

Surely if Jim had a problem with them he would have made it known in that long time span.
Its easy enough to read a headline and skip topics that dont interest you.
Most members need variety to avoid political burnout.

The story was posted in 'Miscellaneous" and was a simple human interest story about an employee risking her life to potentially save more people. If you don't like it, stick to the Paris Hilton threads.
