She wasn't charged with hitting or killing someone so this example is moot. No. It's not. She thought her DUI was a joke and so was being caught twice driving on a suspended. Do you think she was going to stop driving while under the influence? She didn't stop driving when revoked. She'd keep driving while drinking and drugging and the next time she drives in the wrong lane it may cost someone else very dearly. The time to teach her a lesson is BEFORE she kills someone.

Sorry but Minority Report is a fictional movie not real life. Unless you know of some law that the rest of us don't.
