I have not seen one person who knows so far either here or on TV talk claim that someone driving on a suspended license in Kali ever gets the time she got.

It's called REPEAT offender. You can't flout authority. She did.

Let's see how many other times Sauer has done that when Baca lets them out early or often doesn't even process them before sending them home.

I read somewhere today that the judge has to sign off on it. He didn't.

This girl is a fool's fool but hardly merits a month and a half in a stoney county lock up where she is definitely a target over this crap.

From Fox: Hilton was housed in the "special needs" unit of the 13-year-old jail, separate from most of its 2,200 inmates. The unit contains 12 two-person cells reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates. She didn't have a cellmate.

She should have been sentenced like everyone else from the getgo but Sauer knew the world was watching.

She was. She violated probation twice. How many times should she get a "pass"?

Also, it was claimed she was released for medical reasons. Then why couldn't they tell the judge what those reasons were?

Has Paris Killed The Women's Movement?

What’s up with the mystery illness that was so private that Paris’ lawyers didn’t bring documents to Judge Sauer and prove she needed to stay home?

She violated probation twice.

that is not true...she never had a revocation hearing the first time. she claimed ignorance and the cops let her go with a warning....which probably contributed to her daffy thinking that no way could she get fairly serious pokey time for this.

as for her medical situation....if folks here think prison staff can mete out decent medical care then they have misplaced faith in such abilities of the state.

again...I ask to anyone....does Sauer always come get and re-incarcerate anyone who Baca lets go who he sentenced?

I doubt it. This is a guy applauded at his church for his heavy handedness with Hilton. I have seen lawyers and DAs on Greta and other legal shows say they have NEVER seen such a sentence for this.....even Mark Furhman....hardly someone soft on criminals.

I wonder how many here have ever been locked up? Folks act like county time is so much rose petals and good nosh

Do folks here think 45 days is fair for anyone driving on a suspended license?

What about if one forgets to pay a ticket and DMV suspends it and one drives anyhow? 45 days for that?

I think it's excessive.

Hilton has nothing to do with that opinion other than I think she's being picked on for being a rich brat who inherited 90 million's income in trust at 18 and will get her folks' income at their deaths. I don't fault her for that. I fault her for being bratty but that's not against the law. I'd like to leave my family that sort of wealth but I'm trying to raise them right in any event...something her Friends of Getty and Birken parents did not do obviously
