Evidently you are not familiar with county lockup. Also, I never thought I would disagree with Ann Coulter. In Texas if you get pulled over for a suspended license you automatically go to jail, no questions asked, you go to jail.

For the love of God, she's in county lockup, not the federal pen.I've only been in county lockup, but the veterans of the system I was in there with told me that the hardest time you can ever do is county lockup.
Unlike a prison, there is NOTHING to do. You just sit. Time drags incredibly. Each day seems like a week.

Not to be taking sides or anything, but jail has every kind of perp, many awaiting trial because their crime was to severe to let them out on pre-trial release. County jail is tough.
