Can someone update me on what she did to deserve 45 days in jail?

Maybe I’ve missed something. Who-the-hell is Paris Hilton?

Now available for 24/7 conjugal visits. Virus-proof condoms recommended.

Any penalty for the idiot sheriff who disobeyed the judge's order and released Hilton to home detention? I would check his bank account to see if there have been any large deposits in the past few days.

It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to her. Maybe now she’ll get some REAL rehab.

Accountability and consequence are a completely new experience for this poorly raised brat.

This is dumb. First its 45, then its 23, then its 3, then its 45 again. It is enough to make you scream. There should be an understandable law with clear sentences, whatever they may be. Unless she violated her parole, she shouldn’t go from 3 to 45 — even if she shouldn’t have gone from 45 to 3 in the first place.

You know what? I actually feel sorry for the kid.
But I think the judge did the right thing. I hope it changes her life for the better.

Paris broke the law and deserves punishment, but some folks on this thread are being mean.

You know, we could pay a good portion of the national debt by auctioning off the job of doing her cavity search.

I was just thinking, this judge may be the first person to have stood up to Paris and laid the law down on her? What this judge has done could be the best thing that has ever happened to her?

OK I have been very critical of Hilton on the other threads and believe she should go to jail, but lets take a step back.
If the sheriff let her out it is on him not her.
She should do her 23 days as was scheduled. Yes I know her original sentence was for 45 days but it was reduced to 23 for various reasons.
Why is she being punished for the actions of the sheriff?

She’s getting exactly what she deserves. She’s flouted the law many times.
I don’t buy her little crying act either. No sympathy whatsoever from me.
Enjoy it, witch.

I actually think this is sad. Look at this Mary Winkler who shot her husband in the back. She is going to skip jail now and go straight to a mental facility for the next 60 days and be on probation for another year and a half. And Paris is going to go to jail for 45 days! This judicial system is all screwed up!
