MR. PAUL: The president ran on a program of a humble foreign policy, no nation-building, and no policing of the world. And he changed his tune, and now we are fighting a war, and our foreign operations around the world to maintain our empire is now approaching $1 trillion a year.
MR. BLITZER: Thank you.
MR. PAUL: Thats where the moneys going, and thats where it has to be cut so we can take care of education and medical cares that are needed here in this country. (Applause.)

Did you just totally ignore my comments?
1. Economic resources are finite in the short-term.
2. Use of resources by the government diverts resources from the rest of the economy.
Murray Rothbard was an Anarchist Capitalist that wrote for National Review back in the days but was expelled because he didn’t go along with Buckley’s support for the Welfare State.

Sweet. So you don’t like to hear my arguments so you will simply stop listening. Great.

I think we just found out what armchair generals do when confronting a veteran with ground experience in theater.

But hey hes against an UNWINNABLE WAR so lets all goose-step for Benito! That statement says a lot, my friend. About Dr. Paul and you.

The IED war is unwinnable. That is a fact. If there’s a hail-mary way to win without winning the IED war, I’d like to hear it. Because there is no sign of IED attacks slowing down.
They’ve actually been increasing every quarter since the war started.
To: Remember_Salamis
The IED war is unwinnable. That is a fact. Any war is winnable if one has the fortitude do what is necessary to win it. Making a nuclear wasteland out of Iraq will end the IED war. But we're not willing to do that as a nation. But it certainly disproves your "fact."
But, whether the war is winnable or not isn't the issue. It's the calling your opponents in the debate goose stepping fascists that speaks volumes about you and Dr. Paul.

The war was won. We can't win the peace short of resorting to Saddam's bloody methods. As in Vietnam, we're offering them freedom and democracy. It's not clear they're that interested. For that matter, what is a country whose had less than half its citizens voting in recent decades doing trying to export democracy? Maybe we should try to have a little more democracy at home instead.
It's the calling your opponents in the debate goose stepping fascists that speaks volumes about you and Dr. Paul.
Giuliani is certainly among the most autocratic men who has ever run for the presidency. His record as mayor is enough to frighten anyone. He's a menace to the Constitution and to the rule of law. Certainly, he is himself a habitual scofflaw, defying and suing the federal government to maintain his city's sanctuary policies. And he's attacked gun rights, just as surely as Hitler himself did.
We'll never see a poll publicly on this but if you ran one asking which American city was the most fascist in public policy and listed 20 of the biggest cities, tell me, which one would win? Rudy is a product of that city's politics.
To: The_Victor
I’m only calling Rudy a closet fascist, which I think he is.
He’s a left-wing authoritarian with a penchant for foreign adventures and a hatred of personal gun possession. He also may have some repressed homo urges too, like Hitler and Mussolini...
To: Remember_Salamis
He's not in the closet about anything.
He's a transvestite leftwing fascist.
You know, Hermann Goering had the exact same psycho-sexual fixations and tendencies.
To: tacticalogic
Alternatively, you could look at his multi-decade voting record rather than a 10 second sound bite.
What kind of people would actually do something like that? Old joke:
Man: " Sir, all thinking people support your campaign for President"
Candidate: "That's nice but I need a majority" .

"Sorry to disappoint, but your brave friends have already won the war against Al Qaeda and the official results of this great victory will be very well known to the world by the end of this year."
That's great news! Victory is sweet. Do share your information, we are so excited!
Victory Iraq!
