I saw that and it was a crappy way for them to tie up the relationship. Her character has been rather subdued for the past two seasons and then she gets uppitty and terminates with him for fairly weak reasons. The shrink angle was a key element to how the writers illustrated Gandolfini’s character depth/(or lack thereof in some cases)

Final seasons often suck in terms of how they resolve characters.
