I just popped it with a .17, and that was it.

shoot them in the lungs with a .22 short.

no spray. they will not even act like they were hit until the fall over dead from internal drowning. it’s humane and eliminates the spray.

of course, I used to stick a needle in them to kill them. it was on a 6’ stick. never got sprayed once.
